Nothing fancy here, just good old fashioned family values, and good clean fun.

We live on a little hobby farm in western Michigan, with chickens that provide us with fresh eggs every day, cats to keep us entertained and goats to make us laugh.

My husband and I were both born and raised in small towns in west Michigan, and we love our little farm. We like living as simple a life as possible.

We believe in God and Country, Family and Friends, loving each other, and helping others whenever we can.

Making soap has kept me grounded in life and is one of the sure things I know I will always be doing, to help me stay right where I belong. Everyone needs something in their lives to bring them home again.

We hope our products will do just that for others, help people come back home again, to a simpler time, when life wasn't so fast and hard. When neighbors helped each other, and people greeted each other in the streets with a kindly "how do you do?"

My love of handmade soap began in 1991, when I purchased my first bar from a country vendor,on a weekend outing with my husband. I had always had a problem with commercial soap drying my skin. After the first use of handmade soap I knew I had to do this!

Three years of research later, I poured my first batch of cold process soap and have never looked back.

Our recipes have changed a lot since that first batch. One thing hasn't changed, our soap is still completely handmade, each bar a little different in appearance, but uniform in quality. We like it that way and hope you will too. Give our soap a try and enjoy the skin you're in!
